Intel 1302 2048-bit (256 x 8) Static ROM in White Ceramic with Gray Traces-Extremely Rare

This is an Extremely Rare Intel 1302 2048-bit Static ROM ( Read Only Memory) in White Ceramic with Gray Traces that is New Old Stock still in it's unopened Clamshell Package.

The 1302 was released by Intel late in the 4th Quarter of 1972  and this example appears to have been manufactured during week 23 of 1973 in the USA.

Note: This 1302 has no  "C" designation which again shows that it is a very early production of this Support Chip

I know of only a very few of these that were produced in white ceramic with Gray Traces and this is one of them.

I am unable to test this Chip for functionality so it is being sold for collection purposes only and as such has no warranty or guarantee of being functional however because it is New Old Stock the chances of it being functional are quite high.

I can assure any buyers that the prices for these vintage Chips will rise significantly over the coming years as they have done so over the past 30 years so it will be a good investment for them as the majority of the older chips have been scrapped for their gold content.
