This Item is an Intel C3101 Static Random Access Memory (SRAM) in a Very Rare White Ceramic Dual Inline Package (DIP) that is New Old Stock (NOS) in its original Shipping Holder as per the Photos.
The very first product Intel released, in April of 1969, was the 3101 64-bit SRAM.
It was made on the new, and fast Schottky Bipolar process.
There is a Lot Number shown on the Top of the Chip but no Date Code or place of Manufacture shown on the Bottom of the Chip but my guess is that itwould have been Manufactured in the USA in the early 1970's.
I am unable to test this Chip for functionality so it is being sold for collection purposes only and as such has no warranty or guarantee of being functional however because it is New Old Stock, the chances of it being functional are quite high.
I can assure any buyers that the prices for these vintage Chips will rise significantly over the coming years as they have done so over the past 30 years so it will be a good investment for them as the majority of the older chips have been scrapped for their gold content.
