This is a rare Intel 3000 Series Set of Vintage Collectable Ceramic Chips that includes the following:
1 x D3001 Micro-Program Control (Unit (MCU) in a Gray Ceramic Dual Inline Package with Tin Pins
1 x D3002 Central Processor Unit (CPU) in a Gray Ceramic Dual Inline Package with Tin Pins
1 x D3003 Look Ahead Carry Generator (LCP) in a Gray Ceramic Inline package with Tin Pins.
These 3 Chips would be the Nucleus of the items needed to build a 2-Bit Computer and are seldom able to be purchased together as a set.
The D3002 has been tested and show it is in Good Operating condition. The D3001 & D3003 have not been tested as I do not have the equipment required to carry out the required tests so as sold as Collectable items only.
I can assure any buyers that the prices for these vintage Chips will rise significantly over the coming years as they have done so over the past 30 years so it will be a good investment for them as the majority of the older chips have been scrapped for their gold content.
