Intel HC2708 C2708 8192-bit (1024 x 8) EPROM in White Ceramic package with offset ground strap and gold pins - Double Markings Extremely Rare

This Item is an Extremely Rare Double Marked Intel HC2708 or C2708, 8192-bit (1024 x 8) EPROM in White Ceramic package with offset ground strap and gold pins as per the Photos.

What makes this Chip so rare is the Double Markings and I am unsure if it was orginally marked as a HC2708 or Just a C2708.

The Intel 2708 is an 8192-bit ultraviolet light erasable electrically programmable EPROM, ideally suited where fast turnaround and pattern experimentation are important requirements.

This Intel 2708 appears to have been manufactured during Week 42 of 1976 in Malaysia.

I am unable to test this Chip for functionality so it is being sold for collection purposes only and as such has no warranty or guarantee of being functional.

I can assure any buyers that the prices for these vintage Chips will rise significantly over the coming years as they have done so over the past 30 years so it will be a good investment for them as the majority of the older chips have been scrapped for their gold content.
