This Item is a Very Rare Military Verson of an Intel MC2708/B, 8192-bit (1024 x 8) EPROM in White Ceramic package with offset gold cap ground strap, as per the Photos.

The "M" Prefix stands for Military Specification and the "B" Suffix means that the 2708 has gone through a Burn in Procedure

The Intel 2708 is an 8192-bit ultraviolet light erasable electrically programmable EPROM, ideally suited where fast turnaround and pattern experimentation are important requirements.

This Intel MC2708/B appears to have been manufactured during Week 28 of 1978 in Malaysia.

I am unable to test this Chip for functionality so it is being sold for collection purposes only and as such has no warranty or guarantee of being functional.

I can assure any buyers that the prices for these vintage Chips will rise significantly over the coming years as they have done so over the past 30 years so it will be a good investment for them as the majority of the older chips have been scrapped for their gold content.
