This is a  Rare Version of the Intel P4004 4-bit Central Processing Unit (CPU) and was the 1st Micro-Processor released by Intel on November 15 1971

This is one of the Holy Grails for CPU Collectors World Wide and is difficult to find in this Good Condition.

This particular P4004 was Manufactured  in The Philippines during week 4 of 1978

The D4004 has been tested and show it is in Good Operating condition as per the Test Photos.
The Test Board  and the C4002-1 are not included as part of this offering.

The Intel 4004 is a complete 4-bit parallel central processing unit (CPU).
The 4004 easily interfaces with keyboards, switches, displays, A-D converters, printers and other peripheral equipment.
The CPU can directly address 4K 8-bit instruction words of program memory and 5120 bits of data storage RAM. Sixteen index registers are provided for temporary data storage. Up to 16 4-bit input ports and 16 4-bit output ports may also be directly addressed.
The 4004 is fabricated with P-channel silicon gate MOS technology [2].

I can assure any buyers that the prices for these vintage Chips will rise significantly over the coming years as they have done so over the past 30 years so it will be a good investment for them as the majority of the older chips have been scrapped for their gold content.
